The complaint of dizziness is essentially a perception defect. So, in other words, a patient who is dizzy is dreaming. In fact, those around him do not turn around. So what’s wrong? This error of evaluation may be due to a defect, which may be the result of a malfunction in the brain regions in which the data is analyzed.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the discomfort that causes dizziness complaints depends on the environmental (inner ear) or central causes (neurological) and it is best to evaluate the patients in each of the 2 medical branches.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Interestingly, one of the major causes of dizziness is psychological disorders. In a study conducted abroad, 50% of the patients with dizziness complaints for 10 years were found to have psychological origin dizziness. Indeed, it is not uncommon for physicians to come across the complaint of dizziness as part of depression or another mental disorder. But the important point here is that although the cause of the complaint of dizziness or disturbance is mostly due to a discomfort in the inner ear or a psychological cause, it should be kept in mind that diseases can cause serious consequences. It is strongly recommended that dizziness cases should be referred to a neurologist without losing time because of this fact.<\/p>\n<\/div>
