DERMAL THERAPY AND DERMAROLLERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

A dermaroller is a medical device with titanium needles on a rotating cylinder opening microchannels in the skin. Introduction of the micro-needles on the tambour results in the formation of the microchannels, which may be considered as tiny passages opening beneath the skin.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The method can form 250-400 microchannels per 1 cm2. Microchannels are spontaneously closed in 20 minutes without leaving any scars owing to the elasticity of the skin.<\/p>\n

Dermal therapy enables the transfer of the required active ingredients at high densities to the outer layers of the skin, which are the areas in need of the application of the cosmetic formulas most.
\nA study on dermarollers has demonstrated that, compared to the conventional applications of the cosmetic products, they provide 200 folds more penetration to the skin. With the dermal therapy method, cosmetic products penetrate the skin much more, providing a more homogeneous skin effect.
\nAnother benefit of the dermal therapy is the dermarollers\u2019 own effects. The microchannels opened by the dermarollers are perceived by the skin as wounds. As there are no actual wounds in the skin, all the bodily substances produced for wound healing provides anti-aging effects to the skin. By this process, the reduction of the fine needles and wrinkles and the alleviation of the burns and acne blemishes are noticeable.<\/p>\n

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR THE PROCEDURE TO BE EFFECTIVE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is effective on fine-deep lines and wrinkles, on stretch marks (striae), on acne and burns scars, and on spotting discolorations (melasma and hyperpigmentation).<\/p>\n

Treatment of the Acne Scars<\/strong><\/p>\n

This process will fill in the scars eventually. With the release of their bases, the increasing fullness in the scar offers a rapid and efficient improvement. A significant improvement is obtained by means of these two mechanisms. Each dermaroller session on acne scars provides approximately 50% improvement.<\/p>\n

\nDermaroller interventions trigger the production of the substances, which the skin needs, by the skin itself as the cells that produce substances such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin fibrils are usually located 0.5 mm deep in the skin.<\/p>\n<\/div>
