Blood pressure is a measure of the force that your heart uses to pump blood around your body. According to studies related with hypertension in Turkey, the prevalence of hypertension disease among adults  varies between 33.7-41.7%. This disease can be seen in 3 to 4 adult people out of every 10. Symptoms of hypertension include  headache, tiredness, nosebleed, dizziness, tinnitus, drowsiness, difficulty while climbing up stairs, palpitations, thamuria and edema in the legs and dizziness.

Hypertension should not be evaluated alone, as it can also can have other risk factors,  including diabetes Mellitus and obesity, High blood sugar levels, excessive salt consumption, alcohol use, smoke, not doing sports regularly and stress can also lead to hypertension .

Hypertension, which is an insidious disease, leads to various complications if you don’t pay attention. Among them; Stroke, heart attack (myocardial infarction), abdominal and leg veins occlusion and  renal failure resulting in dialysis.



First and foremost, a lifestyle change is required.

If you have excess weight, you should reduce your body mass index (BMI) below 25 kg / m2 under the control of a physician or a dietician.
